Be The Light

The greatest joy I have in business is when I get to share that I’ve been given a gift of help people find out what they were born to do. Anyone – prospects, clients, employees, contractors, competitors, joint venture partners – everyone gets to hear my calling.
Sharing my “born to do” identity gives the business conversation over to God. It is no longer I who is explaining the service, it’s God working through me.
We’re in business to serve people. Period. There is no business unless there’s another person involved that’s receiving or adding value to the product or service.
We Godpreneurs have a choice: we can serve ourselves or we can serve God. There can’t be two masters.
We fall into times when we’re trying to meet our own needs. If you recall those moments, they were surrounded by fear.
We also have time when we’re at our happiest. If you remember, that’s when you were feeling like entrepreneurship was worth the pain!
God designed business like this on purpose. He did it so that
People would experience God even if they don’t have a relationship with Christ so that
You could serve the best of you and in return receive your compensation for that.
The Bible says
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace" (1 Peter 4:10)
You have been given a gift. You have been called to be a light in the marketplace. You can hide that light in the supply closet or you can put it in the middle of your office for the world to see.
We Godpreneurs have the amazing privilege to be used by God to impact our clients and employees in a way that many of them need to be impacted…By a God that wants a relationship with them too so they can, in turn, do the same.
Imagine a world where the marketplace is flooded with entrepreneurs trying to authentically meet the needs of others by being the light of Christ. Wow.
